This charming, bright and airy home has everything a group of friends or family would need for a serene yet fun-filled getaway. Complete with a sweeping back deck, private pool, as well as an open-floor plan, this home certainly caters to sitting back, relaxing, and enjoying the company of those in your group. The living room(s), kitchen, and dining room are all within the same grand space allowing communication and movement among these areas to be quite seamless. There is not one, but two living rooms in this wonderful home — one of which contains a large, deep-seated sectional and mounted television with a sound bar (perfect for movie nights!), and the other serves as more of a lounge and includes a beanbag, large sofa, and stunning wooden coffee table with views of the backyard. Both, however, are excellent places to kick back with friends/family. The kitchen — featuring an island with five high-top chairs, marble countertops, and ample cabinetry — welcomes both novice and well-seasoned chefs to whip up whatever they desire. Feel free to dine casually around the island, or carry the meal a mere few steps away to the circular, polished-wooden dining table for a more formal meal. If, however, you’d like to dine outside, there is a marvelous table awaiting you, allowing you to relish in the early morning, mid-afternoon, or cool evening Summer breeze. Spend the day lounging around the sparkling pool immersed in a good book, or venture to the beach for a day of play in the small, rolling waves and warm sand. Upon returning home, rinse off in the outdoor shower and either gear up for a night downtown, or perhaps you’d like to prepare a quintessential Summer BBQ on the back deck. At the end of a long, fun-filled day, retire to one of the spacious, well-curated, clean bedrooms for a good night’s sleep. Rest assured, there is plenty of drawer and closet space to completely unpack and unwind. Pool Disclaimer: Due to the climate of the northeastern U.S., outdoor pools and attached hot tubs will typically only be available for use from Memorial Day to Labor Day. If your booking falls outside of that time frame and you intend to use the pool/hot tub, please be sure to inquire if they will be available for use prior to booking.
For energy conservation purposes, the pool heater may only be operational from 8am to 6pm.
Off-Season Disclaimer: It is typical that spring cleanings and updates do not take place until late April / early May. If your booking falls outside of Memorial Day to Labor Day, please inquire as to whether or not outdoor furniture and equipment will be available for use prior to booking.
Payment/Refund Policy: All payments are non-refundable, however, should the guest elect to cancel its reservation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner of the property to reopen the dates of the reservation in attempt to re-book the property (please note the decision to reopen dates is the owners’). Should Marquis be successful in re-booking the property for the original dates at the same or higher price than the original reservation, a refund will be issued to the guest once payment is collected in full for the new reservation. If a new reservation is not made, the guest may use the property for the dates of its original reservation so long as payments have been made in accordance with the payment schedule established at the time of booking and Marquis is notified in writing 72 hours or more prior to the start of the reservation.
Security Deposit Disclaimer: Although rare, accidental damage does happen during a stay. In lieu of a security deposit, guests can rest easy knowing that this property is covered with up to $20,000 of "all risk" damage protection provided by Waivo. Coverage details are provided in the booking agreement.
The guest experience for this property is managed by StayMarquis, a local vacation rental management company.
