Find your home away from home at this serene and welcoming retreat. The Village Gambrel house is located minutes from Main Street and the shops and restaurants in town. It’s a short drive to ocean beaches.
The converted barn has a beautiful clapboard exterior. Inside, there is hardwood flooring throughout the stylish home. The welcoming eat-in chef’s kitchen has a tiled floor, beadboard cabinets, stainless-steel appliances, a granite-topped island with breakfast bar for two and an eating area that seats six to eight guests. Glass sliding doors open out to the backyard patio.
Off the kitchen is a spacious living area that evokes the warmth and comfort of a log cabin. It offers comfortable couches, wood paneling on the walls, wooden ceiling beams, and a flat screen TV above a brick-encased fireplace.
The log cabin décor extends to the dining area, which features wood-paneled walls, a wooden table that seats up to 8 people and a charming built-in wall of ceramic bowls, teapots and more.
With three bedrooms, the house comfortably sleeps six guests. The three bedrooms are minimally decorated with tasteful décor. The master suite has a built-in wall unit with a flat screen TV and ample storage space. The two bathrooms have glass-enclosed stand-up tiled showers, and one has a soaking tub.
The luxurious backyard features a gunite pool surrounded by a bluestone patio and beautiful landscaping. The relaxing outdoor area has pool lounge chairs, a table for outdoor dining and an outdoor shower.

Cleaning Disclaimer: All reservations longer than one week must be professionally cleaned once per week, the cost of which is borne by the guest. For clarity purposes, the cost of in-stay cleanings are separate and above the fees collected at the time of booking.
Pool Disclaimer: Due to the climate of the northeastern U.S., outdoor pools and attached hot tubs will typically only be available for use from Memorial Day to Labor Day. If your booking falls outside of that time frame and you intend to use the pool/hot tub, please be sure to inquire if they will be available for use prior to booking.
Off-Season Disclaimer: It is typical that spring cleanings and updates do not take place until late April / early May. If your booking falls outside of Memorial Day to Labor Day, please inquire as to whether or not outdoor furniture and equipment will be available for use prior to booking.
Payment/Refund Policy: All payments are non-refundable, unless stated otherwise. If renter must cancel the reservation, Marquis will re-list availability, and in the event Marquis is able to re-book the nights renter originally booked, a refund may be processed. We strongly encourage renter to purchase travelers insurance (which Marquis offers) as a means of payment protection. Please note that all bookings must be paid in full prior to arrival.

My husband and I were fortunate to stay here for four days after Labor Day, and I must say that it was not enough time. The house is incredibly clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. We will book again.
